About the 59 3601 shower/bath combination mixer

Model 59 3601 is the classic-profile shower/bath combination mixer — clean lines that fit conventional bathroom designs in any of our seven finishes, with the standard EMPOLO diverter and Sedal cartridge internals.

As the manufacturer — not a reseller — we control every step behind this model: brass casting at our own foundry, CNC machining of the waterways, polishing to plating-grade surface, triple plating baths for corrosion and salt-spray resistance, then final assembly and 100% pressure and leakage testing. That vertical chain is why EMPOLO can put a five-year body warranty in writing on model 59 3601 and still quote factory-direct pricing.

Distributors typically order the 59 3601 as part of a mixed container — several finishes of one model beat one finish in bulk for sell-through. Project buyers specify it with matching units across the building so every bathroom carries the same handle geometry and surface.

Buying direct from the factory means the margin normally taken by two or three intermediaries stays on your side of the transaction, and communication goes to the people who actually run the machines. When a buyer asks for a thread change, a different aerator flow rate or a custom escutcheon diameter on 59 3601, the answer comes from the production floor the same day — not through a trading desk relay that adds days and cost to every small decision. It is the model to quote when the tender asks for 'standard profile, any brand' — the internals are premium even when the silhouette is conventional.

Inside the factory

How this faucet is actually made — six gates, one roof

Most "brass faucet" listings online are assembled from bought-in parts of unknown origin. Here is what happens to your order inside EMPOLO's Kaiping works, gate by gate — and what each gate prevents.

1 · Ingot to casting

We sand-cast our own bodies from brass ingots verified above 59% copper. Incoming material is spectrometry-checked, because porosity and wrong alloy are the two silent killers behind leaking faucet bodies — and neither is visible in a photo.

2 · CNC waterways

Water passages are CNC-machined to tolerance so cartridges seat without force. Hand-drilled passages, common at the cheap end of the market, are why some faucets drip from the escutcheon on day 200.

3 · Polishing

Each body is polished before plating — by hand on complex contours. Plating magnifies every surface defect; this gate is why our chrome looks like glass and why PVD brushed finishes stay even at the corners.

4 · Plating

Triple-bath plating with copper-nickel underlayers, then chrome, gold and black surfaces in our own lines. Salt-spray and adhesion testing on sampled racks before a batch moves forward.

5 · Assembly

Spanish Sedal ceramic cartridges, aerators and stainless hoses fitted with torque control. Cartridges are the same platform across the catalog, so your spare-parts inventory stays a single SKU.

6 · 100% testing

Not a sample: every unit is pressure-tested and checked for leakage before packing, and testing reports travel with your shipment. Defects are counted in our factory, not in your warehouse.

Finish system

Seven finishes, one plating standard

Chrome / Chrome-black

Mirror triple-plated chrome is the volume default for hotel and retail programs worldwide; chrome-black pairs a mirror body with black accents for transitional designs. Both share the same corrosion-tested underlayer stack.

Brushed gold / Rose / Champagne

The brushed gold family — one of the fastest-growing spec in Middle East, Southeast Asian and Australian projects. Brushed surfaces hide fingerprints and are our recommendation for hard-water regions.

Matte black / Gun metal

Matte black uses a humidity-rated surface treatment specified for daily bathroom use; gun metal anchors industrial and loft-style designs. Both age evenly and are re-finish friendly at the factory.

What arrives in your warehouse

Every carton ships retail-ready

Model 59 3601 ships with mounting hardware, stainless steel hoses where the configuration requires them, an installation guide in English, and a care card for the selected finish. Neutral brown cartons are standard; colour boxes with your artwork, barcodes and multilingual inserts are produced in-house at no tooling surprise — quoted once, applied consistently across your program.

For project orders we pack by bathroom or room schedule, so site teams open the right carton first instead of sorting on the 30th floor. Pallet patterns, carton marks and container load plans are confirmed before production closes, and we send the packing list photos with the pre-shipment test report.

Frequently asked questions

Is model 59 3601 really solid brass, not zinc alloy?

Yes. Every EMPOLO faucet body, including 59 3601, is sand-cast solid brass with copper content above 59%. Zinc-alloy bodies feel lighter, chip at the threads and fail plating adhesion tests — we run material verification on incoming ingots and welcome third-party inspection of 59 3601 at any stage. If a buyer receives a zinc body quoted as brass anywhere in this category, that is exactly the market confusion we price our tooling to avoid.

What is the MOQ and lead time for wall mounted bath mixer tap orders?

MOQ is flexible and depends on finish and packaging: stock-finish trials start small, while full custom programs consolidate around your container plan. Production milestones — casting, machining, plating, packing — come with inspection photos, and we confirm the shipping window in writing when the order is booked. First-time partners usually begin with a mixed-finish trial order before committing to a single-SKU container.

Can model 59 3601 be OEM-branded for our market?

Yes — logo on handles and escutcheons, custom boxes, barcodes, and market-specific certifications are all handled in-house. We support OEM orders with documentation your market needs, and finish samples ship before bulk production starts. Private-label programs routinely include your brand catalogue artwork printed at our works, so the product arrives shelf-ready.

Which certification applies to 59 3601 in my country?

It depends on the line rather than the model number alone: our CUPC line covers the US and Canada, WaterMark and WELS cover Australia and New Zealand, SASO covers Saudi Arabia, TIS covers Thailand, and CE supports European programs. Tell us the destination market when you request a quotation for 59 3601 and we will quote the certified line with the correct documentation pack — not a generic certificate claim.

How do the plating finishes hold up in harsh water?

All finishes run through the same triple-plating process on hand-polished brass, tested for corrosion and salt-spray resistance before release. In hard-water regions we recommend brushed finishes (brushed gold, gun metal) over mirror chrome for appearance retention, and we supply a care card with every carton. Matte black uses a surface treatment specified for bathroom humidity and routine cleaning agents.

What happens if a cartridge fails inside the warranty period?

The Sedal ceramic cartridge carries a two-year warranty and the faucet body five years. Because cartridges are a shared platform across the EMPOLO range, spare cartridges, hoses and aerators ship in small parcels or piggyback on your next container — one SKU services almost the whole catalog, which keeps your after-sales inventory simple.
